Volunteers are strongly encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transportation instead of relying on private vehicles, helping significantly reduce carbon emissions and promote a lower-carbon lifestyle. Participants also receive thorough guidance on sustainable living practices, which include avoiding single-use plastics, conserving water and electricity, making mindful choices when shopping or consuming resources, and managing waste responsibly through recycling and composting. These measures help ensure that daily living and volunteer activities contribute positively to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the planet.
