Office:
Almost all of our paperwork is handled electronically. Communication with clients and partners is sent via e-mail or electronic message, rather than in printed format. We limit paper brochures to the bare minimum, if at all. Additional communications are via the internet. To improve our carbon footprint we delete all old email communications to free up data on the servers. Where possible we share Google Drive links for photos and videos, thereby reducing data usage. Out of hours, we turn off wifi routers.

Fauna And Flora:
In this package destinations such as the Cocora Valley, The Thermal Pools, Monserrate, the Cacao finca, Jardin and Jerico are natural places (mostly all places of Colombia), that’s why we pay special attention so that we do not disturb any wild animals, birds or plants in their natural habitat. Naturally, of course, we do not touch unnecessarily any fauna or any living entity. We reduce noise and commotion where possible. We are particularly pleased when our travelers do not leave any trace of ever having been there. Since many of our tours are based on visits to protected areas, we promote activities such as walking and cycling where possible

Our coffee tour provided in Salento it takes part in a finca (farm) that is completely pesticide and machinery free. Every part of the entire process is done by hand and with this, discover the traditional methods of growing the perfect coffee bean.

In Antioquia, when doing the Cacao farm, the experience will teach how to take advantage of what nature provides us, showing a typical meal called “Fiambre” that is wrapped in Banana leaves, teaching how to make traditional chocolate in an artisan method, to finally use the husk of the cacao as an exfoliation therapy down by the river, giving a complete experience in the nature.

Jardin counts with beautiful colonial architecture counting with houses and buildings that have remained almost for a century, besides, it’s also surrounded by impressive landscapes being home to the “Andean Cock of the Rock”. Jerico is one of the most important religious tourist destinations in the country counting with 17 temples.

Local Crafts and culture:
Our primary concern with tourism in Colombia is to ensure that there is only a positive impact on local communities and culture. We encourage travelers to buy local, during your travel from Bogotá to Villa de Leyva, we will stop in the artisan town “Of Raquira” a dream location for anyone wishing to do a bit of shopping. You'll find everything here from hammocks to pottery and all Colombian-made.

For all our guests there is always pre-trip information available for each destination. Where possible, we like to ensure that upon arrival they feel comfortable and confident ahead of their Colombian experience. Greeted by the local guide at the airport, who is our representative, they will have explained to them all the details of the tour and be provided with additional local information. For this, our guests are generally very appreciative.
