1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We had several lunches with local families which was a true cultural experience. The food and wine were amazing in both Armenia and Georgia. And the sights were phenomenal!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We would not recommend booking this trip if you want a a slow pace tour. You will have long days with a lot of driving. Some days we did not reach the hotel until 20.00 which for us was a bit late to be able to unwind and have dinner. We changed hotels every night in Armenia, so you will not be able to see much of the towns that you stay in. In Tbilisi, Georgia we stayed 4 nights at a hotel, so this was very nice. We got to know this city quite well and loved it there too.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we stayed in locally owned hotels and ate at local restaurants often run and owned by a family.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We really enjoyed our tour in both Armenia and Georgia. The guides were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We would love to come back!

Dear Cheryl and Sven,
It was my great pleasure to have you in our small group Armenia and Georgia tour, and to meet you personally. Thank you so much for your detailed feedback. I
understand your comments on the different hotel stays in Armenia. The reason for this arrangement is that we are trying to avoid back-and-forth drives and go
to the country as deep as possible. We will definitely consider your comments and improve the itinerary at the end of the season for future travellers.

Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing we've worked to maximise the benefits of your holiday to local people and places, and minimise any negative impacts.
Planet
CARBON REDUCTION1. At our organization, we promote the use of alternative energy sources instead of relying solely on electricity. Considering their geographical location, Georgia and Armenia receive ample amounts of sunlight, which is why we encourage our partners to utilize solar panels whenever possible.
2. Minimize Plastic Use: We highly suggest bringing a reusable water bottle, shopping bag, and toiletries to minimize the use of single-use plastics.
ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
1. Avoid activities that harm the environment: We provide guidelines on how to take photos and videos without causing harm to nature. This includes respecting wildlife's personal space, avoiding excessive noise, and refraining from trampling sensitive areas.
2. Our guides are often from the local community, which means they have grown up in the region and have an intimate understanding of its natural wonders. This local knowledge allows them to offer insights that go beyond what's found in guidebooks. And we always pass on any feedback we receive from our guests to our guides, to enhance the quality of our services.

LOCAL ECONOMY1. In this trip, all accommodations are locally owned, reflecting our commitment to supporting the local community. We prioritize working with local establishments to ensure that travelers can immerse themselves in the culture and contribute to the local economy.
2. When we travel to different areas, we can assist the local communities by discovering the artistic creations of Armenian craft experts. Tourists can not only admire their work, but also buy locally-made products, art pieces, and souvenirs that are on display. This not only supports the local economy but also allows visitors to take home a special and genuine piece of Armenian culture.
EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY, AND DIVERSITY
1. The majority of our employees are from the country itself, with a strong focus on involving the local community. This ensures an authentic experience for our travelers while supporting the local economy. Additionally, our cheese-tasting experience in Armenia is hosted by a family farm within the local community, highlighting our commitment to promoting local businesses and traditions.
