The most memorable part of the holiday was rafting down the river between Slovakia and Poland. Tranquil rather than rough due to low rainfall but beautiful scenery. Read full reviewReviewed on 31 Jul 2019 by Carla Glynn
The most memorable parts of the trip were rafting through the Dunejas gorge, then riverside cycle through a thunderstorm with fantastic views. Also the overnight train - the children loved that. Read full reviewReviewed on 14 Aug 2017 by Polina Koshevaya

Planet
All of our activities have a common goal to minimise the negative impact of tourism on the environment and provide a professional service, with the highest level of respect for the client, and also for nature, monuments and communities.Nature is a tremendous asset to us all, so we strive to maintain the diversity of local ecosystems and the beauty of nature for future generations. We take care to ensure that our itineraries do not interfere negatively with the environment in protected areas, national parks and buildings of historical significance. During our stays we take care to avoid damaging nature, such as by harming plants and animals, or littering. We also take care to maintain the natural tranquillity of the areas we visit.
On this holiday we will be based in Pieniny National Park and the High Tatras. In Pieniny, we have opted for rafts rather than motorboats on the Dunajec river. While cycling along the banks of the Dunajec river we behave considerately towards other tourists and take care not to litter. National parks hide vast flora and fauna, which is why during hikes in High Tatras you walk only on official tourist paths, and dont pick plants, litter or disturb wildlife.
You travel from Prague to the Tatra mountains by train, a more environmentally friendly form of transport than bus or plane. The overnight sleeper train is also an exciting and integral part of this family adventure holiday.

We organise tours for small groups who can experience a real adventure first-hand, which in mass tourism and large groups is simply not possible. We incorporate visits on our tours to places away from the traditional tourist trail and aim to foster a purposeful connection with the local communities that you will visit. We are therefore able to provide more pleasant experiences to understand the local customs, way of life and culture.
On this holiday we will make your stay more pleasant by using family run hotels that are much more friendly than big hotel chains. Youll also use the services of local guides in Prague and in the Tatra mountains. Youll spend a day with a local farmer, and experience a horse and carriage ride, traditional Slovak bonfire grilling, milking and cheese making. On this day, you will be helping to the farmer to support his family and community, and to preserve traditions. By visiting the unique Demanovska ice caves and Spissky castle, you directly support the maintenance of these UNESCO world gems.
