Raffi was the most excellent tour guide for Armenia; very organised so we know what's going on and what to expect. And also so passionate and knowledgeable about different aspects of the country from political to economics to theology. And also entertaining us with his way of telling dad jokes Read full reviewReviewed on 28 Apr 2024 by Sharon Burns

CARBON REDUCTIONWe are committed to reducing the environmental impact of travel by promoting alternatives to flying. We've implemented a policy to minimize avoidable internal flights, hence encourage travelers to consider ground transportation whenever feasible for shorter distances. This approach not only reduces emissions but also allows you to experience the journey itself, creating memorable moments along the way.
We celebrate the beauty of human-powered transport as an extraordinary way to experience the world in an eco-friendly manner. Many of our carefully curated trips include segments that involve walking. Travelers walk during sightseeing tours, when they reach each destination. There is also a walking city tour in both Georgia and Armenia when no transport is used.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to the culinary aspect of journey. During the trip we provide delicious and nutritious vegetarian and vegan food options that are thoughtfully designed to showcase local flavors and ingredients.
ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
We are deeply committed to promoting sustainable travel practices, which includes assessing the environmental impact of accommodations on our trips.
We examine how accommodations manage and reduce their pollution levels, including solid waste, noise, and air emissions, to minimize their footprint on the local ecosystem.
Some of the ways our trips can include or contribute to nature recovery/rewilding projects are:
Entrance Fees: In destinations where there are protected areas or nature reserves, the cost of entrance fees may contribute directly to conservation and restoration efforts.
Local Guides: By employing local guides who are knowledgeable about the ecosystem, wildlife, and conservation efforts, our trips support local economies and provide valuable insights to travelers about the importance of preserving natural habitats.
