Having worked in the wildlife business for several years, we ensure our trip to Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire offer a truly authentic and nature-based experience to discerning travelers. Over the past few years, our focus has grown to concentrate on the opportunities that we have to enable everyone to have a unique quest of Africa while contributing positively towards the conservation of our natural resources.
For instance throughout the tour, we seek to minimise our impact on the environment. We encourage the reduction of waste in all forms, reusing of resources whenever possible and recycle at every opportunity. We encourage the use of shared transportation on our tour in order to reduce our carbon foot print.
In addition we encourage travellers to put their waste materials in provided waste bins on the bus where they will be collected and dispose of in appropriate manner.

Finally as part of our "eco-friendly" initiative, we have been able to work alongside the tour guides and staff so that the hotels we work with in Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire implement best practices when it comes to environmental matters. We assist them when setting up solar panels as well as educate the staff on turning off lights and electrical appliances that are not being used.

People

In all our trips, local culture and communities form an integral part. We recognize that we are guests of the local communities we travel through and strive to make these communities into our partners and ensure our visits bring positive impact to them and improve their living standards.
For instance at Ntonso where Artisans hand-stamp patterns on Cotton cloth to make Adinkra Textiles, our travelers get to learn how these clothes are made as well as have the chance to buy these hand crafted souvenirs that help to keep natives employed and benefit their living conditions.
We also prefer to use smaller locally-owned businesses, ensuring that local communities gain a direct economic benefit from our business, for example, we use small locally owned hotels, campsites and activity providers wherever possible.

We use local guides and operators throughout the trip( responsible local operators that provide training and employment to many local people as guides, providing them with stable employment in the tourism industry.)
