Excellent. It was a late booking but was still extremely well organised - everyone from booking all way through to escort back to airport were helpful and super friendly. We just loved the varied landscape. It is so beautiful, green and lush. The walks enabled us to experience this all across the island. Whale watching, which was an add on was a particular highlight.read more

The two boat trips where we saw lots of dolphins and whales, and the land trips to see all the amazing volcanic features. Plus eating the stew cooked in the ground! Incredible! The 'Being a Marine Biologist for the day' was absolutely brilliant. 10 out of 10 for certain!read more

A fantastic and unique experience. Would recommend the Azores to anyone who loves nature and hiking. The magic of seeing a female blue whale with her calf on our whale-watching trip from Pico. Loved it! Was everything we hoped for and more. Seeing the whales and dolphins was wonderful. A lifetime ambition realised! We booked an accessible holiday as our son had a stroke four years ago and he had mobility issues. Excellent. I had lovely time. The main focus for my holiday was to see whales & other mammals in their natural habitat, so it wonderful to do that. [There] are lots of lovely restaurants, bars & shops which must benefit from visitors. The staff on the boats are marine biologists & are passionate about the welfare of the animals. Also, on the various treks inland, the staff are also enthusiastic about promoting the natural beauty of the island. read more

Seeing and learning about the marine mammals on our boat trips: common and bottlenose dolphins, Sei and sperm whales. The company facilitating the trips were helpful, especially Eulalia our guide. The boats and safety equipment and care and consideration for the cetaceans was all good. The hotel La Collegio was good, lovely breakfast. read more
