The gorillas were mesmerising, watching chimps play was a world of excitement, having a resident hippo at a beautiful riverside camp was a dream. The whole trip was incredible, there was always something new and different each day. Overall the trip was fantastic, our host company was amazing at planning and organising the trip for us. Our guides were brilliant, friendly and helpful. We were mainly hoping to see animals including the Big 5 and the Gorillas and were incredibly lucky to see these and more. One of the best we have had - extremely well organised and a great guide/driver with incredible knowledge of birding and wildlife as well as the history, etc, of both Uganda and Rwanda. Too many to pick just one highlight - spending an hour with a family of 10 mountain gorillas, a balloon flight over the Masai Mara at sunrise, seeing wild chimpanzees, spotting elephants, big cats, hippos.... The list could go on. read more
