It was excellent. We hesitated a little before booking because it felt quite expensive but it was really worth it. We are so glad we decided to do Cape Town this way. It was the people. The scenery was beautiful and the food was amazing but we most enjoyed meeting local people, getting to know them a little and hearing their stories.read more

Absolutely outstanding....I have never felt a holiday I have been on before has benefitted the local people anything like as much as this one. The Mara Naboisho Conservancy is doing amazing things for the local community, giving them a sustainable income and employment, conserving the wildlife and environment and meeting the needs of tourists - an extraordinary balance appears to have been found.read more

We had a great holiday, however it would not suit everyone. The village stays were like camping indoors, so unless you like camping don’t go there. Having said that, it did what it said on the packet and we were not disappointed, very glad we went.read more

Our visit to the Namib Desert, the wildlife, some of the local people we met and two lodges in particular, Doro Nawas and Okonjima. We saw some spectacular things, the desert, the stars in clear, clear skies, lots of birds and animals, and even a chameleon crossing the road in the desert, but it is a long, long way between lodges, and it is very tiring.read more

Very hard to pick just one element of the trip, it was all memorable. Cycling through Vietnam and Cambodia gives you a chance to immerse yourself in
local life in a way that travelling by any other means would have been impossible. We cycled well off the beaten track, through villages and paddy fields, along dirt tracks and local paths. We ate incredible local, fresh food and visited some fascinating places on the rest days. read more
