1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It was altogether wonderful - hard to pick any one part - perhaps my visit to the moss temple in Kyoto was very special2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
If travelling in September, wear light linen or cotton clothes & consider buying a neck-worn rechargeable fan. It was quite hot and humid.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Foraging for leaves up in the Japanese Alps and then using them as part of an amazing lunch with the guy who took us foraging, had caught the BBQ fish, grew the rice and made the best ever sake.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that the Japanese business hotels often don't have bars and if they do will charge you to sit in them even if you're staying there!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes; probably not; slightly.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Really very enjoyable. Well organised and delivered, very varied interesting itinerary and good accommodation especially the ryokans.Holiday Reviews
