Totally five star in every way. The whaleshark encounter was mind blowing and really was a once in a lifetime chance to enjoy seeing such amazing animals up close. Relaxing totally on a hammock on the jetty at Lake Bacalar as there was no reason to be doing anything else. read more

Boat trip on Atitlan Lake to San Juan, all the beautiful buildings in Grenada. Mombacho volcano hike where we saw 3 sloths in their natural habitat were the highlights.read more

Overall fabulous but as much to do with Luz our guide and the rest of the group than the trip itself. All fabulous but the time in the forests of Tikal and the Volcano tours the best.read more

I really enjoyed the day at Semuc Champey and we basically had the Mayan site of Yaxha to ourselves with our personal archaeologist making that experience very intimate and special.read more

It was having the opportunity to really get to know Guatemala and the Mayan people and their culture via a very knowledgeable guide. I had expected visits
but we saw extra things too that were not expected on the itinerary. Amazing experiences.read more

Fantastic. Cesar was excellent as the main guide and local guides were top notch.
Learned a lot and saw a lot. Sloth close up, volcano hike, rafting, beautiful scenery on the road trip, and great traveling companions. read more

Waking up on the first morning and seeing a volcano outside the window. Rio Dulce area and the journey down the gorge to the Carribbean. The journey down the river to Las Guayacamas surrounded by thousands of yellow butterflies... Brilliant. Loved every minute of it and would love to return.read more

The most memorable part was seeing the inside of a volcano at night and the lava bubbling away or running (mostly walking) down the side of another volcano or zip lining through the Costa Rican jungle.read more

We visited local artisans, coffee co-operatives, and a local Mayan community in Tikal. Some of the activities were 100% eco-tourism that directly supported efforts to preserve forests etc... Probably one of the most memorable holidays we have done.read more
