1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The GEM Museum at the Giza Pyramids. Absolutely astounding! Beautifully designed, well-organized, stunning collection and the way artifacts are designed and placed on display is excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable and professional, and we learned much.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Try to go on a private tour—it is most beneficial to have a guide along the way because there is so much to see you want to make sure you have good access and someone with good knowledge. We saw many people in groups that looked too large and unwieldy and people were having a hard time keeping up or hearing.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, just being Tourists benefited local people as we supported their economy through our day to day activities.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was excellent! Thanks to the tour operator who are well-organized and didn’t miss a beat anywhere! They paired us with wonderful guides (Ahmed Hallel in Cairo) and all arrangements were made well and accessible throughout, and if not accessible, arrangements were made alternatively. We thoroughly enjoyed the journey and think it was well priced.Joanna Bock review 17 Dec 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The Sphinx and pyramids and all the care given by the operator.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Choose this operator, do advance readings on the various dynasties, and bring more tip money than you think you could possibly need!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Certainly benefited local people. It is a third world country. The more you spend on tips and on buying their beautiful crafts, the better off they are.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fascinating, good Mid-Eastern food, and spectacular “Wonders of the World “Ali Taylor review 18 Nov 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All of our holiday was memorable and exciting, from the Pyramids, Sphinx, museums, Nile cruise and Balloon flight. What also enhanced our excursions were two very knowledgeable tour guides, in Giza our tour guide was Tarek, who explained and gave us so much of his knowledge, we highly recommend this wonderful man. Thank you Tarek. On the Nile cruise, which was everything I had been hoping for and more our tour guide was Ash, again a very knowledgeable man, who shared so much information and knowledge with us, as well as being incredibly courteous, professional and great fun. All of the staff on the cruise ship the “Esmeralda” from the Maître d to the Cabin boy and everyone in between were wonderful, attentive , professional and great fun.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Sit back and let the operator do all the hard work of putting together this amazing package. They adapted this wheelchair package for us, we are not disabled but liked the sound of the package, we also added some additional excursions. We were not disappointed.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we put a lot of money into the local community.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
1000%. A perfect holiday!!Angela Marsh review 9 Feb 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Seeing the pyramids, temples and tombs.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This was not wheelchair accessible in our experience. My husband's wheelchair would not fit in the elevators in the hotel or on the boat. To get to the boat he had to walk down approximately 15 stairs and walk across the gang plank. Once on the boat the doorways were not wide enough for him to get through in his wheelchair. Once in our room it was excellent but moving around the boat to the dining room or upper deck he had to get out of his wheelchair and walk. When going to see the temples if your boat is not the first to tie up boats tie up alongside each other which means you have to walk across all the other boats and on to the next boat until you get to land, then on return you have to cross all the boats to reach yours, again not easy for anyone in a wheelchair.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It helped our guides, drivers and helpers with the tips we gave them and also the shops we were taken to when we bought items.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
In our experience it was not wheelchair accessible. Thank goodness my husband can walk short distances and was determined to see as many of the sights as possible. The guides Ahmed and Hany, were excellent, wanted us to see as much as possible and were extremely knowledgeable. All staff were helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Tori who pushed my husband around all of the sites, he couldn't have seen as much as he did without him.Read the operator's response here:

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Seeing the Pyramids of Gisa and the Valley of the Kings2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Wheelchair accessibility is a bit of a joke. The operator did usually not provide wheelchairs. As one would expect, accessibility was very limited at most sites. Fortunately, I was able to access most things by using my cane. If you are totally wheelchair bound, forget going on this trip!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It benefitted local people (never -ending supply of locals trying to sell you something. They do not take "no" for an answer!)4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Overall, it was worth the over-zealous shopkeepers and lack of accessibility because of the historical significance of seeing these ancient wonders.Read the operator's response here:
Hello Kenneth,
Thank you so much for your message, we have been through your comments and we would like to thank you for your feedback. Please let's assure you that Egypt is not like Europe (Wheelchair users' friendly ) , we are trying to make the ever possible adaptations to meet our customers' needs. We have been investigating your comments regarding providing a wheelchair during your trip as well as the locals who were selling some products, I trust the wheelchair has been provided on day 2 of your trip . Concerning the local vendors, they are offering their products and some of travelers could be interested. However as this was an unpleasent experience for yourself, we assured our tour representatives & guides to take a proper action towards vendors in case that our clients are not interested. We truly appreciate your observations & very much looking forward to welcoming you again in Egypt

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The pyramids for sure! Kom Ombo blew me away, too. But we totally enjoyed it all! The cruise and the most excellent staff!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions - we learned a lot about the history, culture, and even the tipping practices! The guides are super knowledgeable.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We asked to be taken shopping for certain things and were lead to reputable places where we felt good about spending our money and supporting people.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This was an excellent trip. We are thinking of coming back and I would definitely use the operator again. The care they provided for my handicapped husband and I was unparalleled. Very good natured people that really strive to make our stay so enjoyable.David Smith review 3 Mar 2020
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Visiting the temples and excursions.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Do not be afraid of asking for help. You have to be helped on and off the boat. No wheelchair access from boat to road side.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Quality of the Egyptian guides - superb historical and local knowledge2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Explain clearly what pace of trip you want - in hindsight we could have left out some places in Cairo to avoid long drives in traffic across the city. We would have focused on one or two places (such as the museum) and spent longer there.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It benefited local people but not the environment or conservation. Personally I would prefer not to take tours using animal rides and also suggest that the tour company ask clients to refill re-usable drinking bottles from a larger one that they keep in the minibus ( rather than handing out new small plastic water bottles each day) this is true of all tours not just this operator!4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was superb, I travelled with my elderly Aunt who required a wheelchair and the operator provided excellent support and were extremely kind and patient.Holiday Reviews
