1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The sampans at Trang An, watching the train on Train Street, taking the overnight train to Ninh Binh and cruising in Ha Long Bay. So many other memories.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We were told it was high season but in the country driving from Ninh Binh to Sa Pa was very quiet. Yes the cities and popular attractions can be busy but that's all part of the atmosphere. Try a train journey. It was very clean and comfortable in a 2 berth cabin.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes we visited tribal villages and parks. Also we gave employment to our local guides, drivers and bird experts.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Spending time in Tan Thanh- the two temples there are exquisite and taking a boat ride Hua Lu; Hoi An and Hue ( palace tour) was great including our cooking class and bike ride to the organic farms; and Saigon was surprisingly cosmopolitan and interesting. We learned a lot about the Vietnam War from many perspectives. Food was delicious.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It’s very crowded everywhere. That’s part of traveling in SE Asia. Skip Halong Bay if you go on boat tour at Hua Lu; be prepared for the chaos of Hanoi. Don’t over schedule your days. Go to fewer places for longer time. Review your hotel choices. We never found any nice beaches.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, to a certain extent. Using local Tour guides and asking to stay and eat at locally owned businesses was likely beneficial.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Miss Trang from the tour operator was terrific when we were planning the trip. She provided lots of advice and was exceedingly patient with all of our questions. Our tour around Vietnam was organised brilliantly by Ha and her team and they were always very easy to contact with any further questions we had prior and during the trip. All the tour guides were fantastic too as very knowledgable and professional.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We packed in quite abit into two weeks so be mindful not to overbook things and get time to relax too!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes we really hope that our trip had a direct benefit to the local people that are employed throughout our journey through Vietnam.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

An amazing trip, particularly with teenagers, The tour operator we’re totally responsive to our families needs/requests when planning our itinerary and organised everything perfectly so our busy schedule ran smoothly.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All our guides were all local and we were taken to see various country villages which benefit from tourism by selling craft goods, providing food etc. On our cruise around Halong bay no plastic water bottles were permitted and when out with guides on small fishing villages we were encouraged to collect the rubbish that was unfortunately floating in the sea. Many places were stayed provided clean fresh drinking water in glass bottles every day in the rooms.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Halong bay and waking up to that amazing views and kayaking in the mist. We all loved the street food tour on motor bike and the cooking classes too.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I think this trip offers it all and depending what you are after you could see the full variety but know that there is a fair amount of travel to get it all in or spend more time in a couple of areas- we are glad we did the former but really needed the full two weeks and we had more time a little longer would have been better.3. I really enjoyed all the local tour guides and them each offering a new perspective and all the food places we went to being small local street food mostly. Environmentally we did two internal flights which is less great and wonder if should have been less greedy about covering so much length to prevent it.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
