The hiking and surfing was fantastic. I wish I still windsurfed as it looked incredible. Lots of friendly and guest service minded staff at our accommodations and throughout the whole island.read more

The location of our apartment (Driftwood). It was wonderful to be able to gaze out of the window and see the ocean, to hear the waves and to walk out at any time for a quick swim almost literally from our doorstep.read more

Being able to walk to a great family beach (Arrieta) with spanish holidaymakers mainly. Our teenagers felt free to go swimming, body boarding & surfing. After a day of swimming or discovering the island it felt good to come back to the Eco Cabin with its pergola and small garden with fruit trees (fig, orange, mango, apple).read more

The best part was staying in the tiny fishing village of Punta Mujeres and interact with the locals simply by having a cortado or getting a beer with the others. This is the best slow travel I have experienced. Highly recommended, if you want to walk, trek, read, write, have great food and surrounded by simple, kind people. An unforgettable holiday where the pace was slow and the locals very kind including the mini market at Punta Mujeres, the hair dresser and folks at Bar Palenka.read more
