1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

We enjoyed the pristine untouched forest and remoteness.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Take a torch. Be prepared for a stay at a very basic lodge (Surama). Not many mammals but lots of superb birds, outstanding forests and rivers and wonderful people.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I think this kind of ecotourism benefits both people and the environment. Provides jobs and training where jobs are few. Energy is provided mostly by solar panels. Food is produced locally.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was a unique holiday and very enjoyable. A very rare opportunity to experience untouched wilderness. Worth the small occasion discomforts.

It benefits local people as it provides employment. Environmental impacts are relatively small due to solar power and respectful use of water.
