1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The team was very welcoming and helpful and looked after our family in every regard, whether it be practical, safety, comfort or recommendations. The conditions determined what we could do to some extent but the crew and guide always made the best of it and discussed options with us. The local food was very good and it was great to see some different islands.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

We went very late in the season - this was great in terms of places not being busy, but did mean the wind was very strong which limited our ability to sail on occasions. This meant we spent more time on land than sea so you need to be flexible depending on the weather. We needed to take a combination of various flights/ferries and transfers inbetween - consider splitting this if you have time.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We went to smaller harbours and went to local taverns which were amazing. Being on a boat determined the impact and capacity to reduce it, but they do everything they can. The guide is doing a great job to generate interest in local birdlife. The context onshore is challenging in terms of local management of waste around habitats, and increasing enclosure of land restricting access for walking - this needs to be reviewed to maintain the level of the offering.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A great alternative holiday to get away from it all.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Crystal clear waters and spotting an octopus while snorkelling.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

This is not an active sailing holiday - expect to sit back and let all the sailing be done for you.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, every evening we ate dinner on a different island. Restaurants were owner managed producing quality food with local ingredients. The skipper is a passionate environmentalist and we had some interesting discussions over dinner.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Good - though it would have been more enjoyable if the skipper were less gruff with his crew member and with us. We sometimes felt we were in their way!
