Interacting with our tour guides, chef, the bakery tour, vendors at the Christmas markets, and hotel desk staff. Anytime you actually get to talk with people who give you an opportunity to learn about their lives or share a favorite restaurant or local shop, it becomes memorable. I cannot stress enough about the quality of our guides in Prague, Nuremberg, and Paris. Lenca (spelling) , Prague, was simply charming. read more

The most memorable part of the holiday was rafting down the river between Slovakia and Poland. Tranquil rather than rough due to low rainfall but beautiful scenery. read more
