1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
There were too many to pick just one! The gorillas were mesmerising, watching chimps play was a world of excitement, having a resident hippo at a beautiful riverside camp was a dream. Riding through a herd of zebra, walking alongside giraffes of all ages. Plus a day full of elephants and witnessing a lioness with tiny playful cubs.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Just book it Uganda is a beautiful diverse country and has so much to offer!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, there are many programmes set up to benefit the local communities. They also work hard to fight for the environment and protect wildlife. Often helping to educate locals to limit human animal conflict!4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was a magical trip, Miriam and Godwin did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and even tweaked itinerary along the way to suit our tastesJuliet Peugniez review 6 Oct 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Spending time with the Mountain Gorillas on the slopes of Mount Karisimbi.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Rwanda has so much to offer, alongside Volcano National Park, both Akegera NP and Nyungwe Forest are well worth a visit. We also really enjoyed a couple.of days relaxing by Lake Kivu - simply beautiful!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We had the opportunity to talk with lots of rwandans, who were our guides, trackers, porters and in local communities. There is a clear benefit from the tourist dollar, both for the conservation of wildlife and support to neighbouring local communities. By and large Rwandans are living more sustainably, and with a greater sense of community, than most of us the global north, so honestly felt there was so much more to learn from them.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Awesome! An incredible trip full of beautiful scenery, amazing wildlife and friendly welcoming people.mike barnes review 8 Oct 2023
