1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Andrei and his wife were most welcoming. their home is comfortable, the food was delicious and plentiful. Andrei's knowledge of the birdlife and surroundings was excellent and we couldn't have enjoyed the trips more seeing some 70+ species of birds plus other wildlife.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Found travel to the area easy by booking Augustina bus from Bucharest to Tulcea then taxi from Tulcea to the guest house. Andrei can supply a taxi number if needed though plenty of taxi's at the bus station.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Definately. Andrei is working hard to support and develop conservation in the Danube Delta - by supporting him and the local people we are too.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

We saw over 50 species of bird in our trips around the impressive Danube delta. Andrei and Irina are wonderful hosts, and we really enjoyed the meals all made with local products.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a mosquito repellent, otherwise all the necessary equipment (including binoculars) is provided by the host3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We saw swathes of Danube delta that have been opened up again to water after being agricultural fields, and I think birdwatching trips to Mahmudia village will help the development of these projects.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Experiencing nature in the delta and eating wonderful home cooked fish meals.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
