1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The variety presented to us in the form of personal tours and attention to detail with such things as accommodation bookings, bike hires, food and wine tours etc.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Consider the balance of having days to self discover or tour versus travelling to next destination. We enjoyed three nights at each place (x3 places) so we had time to enjoy but also variety.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We enjoyed supporting small businesses and reducing our footprint with train and bike transport. We appreciated the reminders to support conservation and your commitment to it.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All the places we visited had their own charm - palaces, churches, paintings and frescoes , architecture, food…….It was great to visit a number of towns with such rich and evocative histories. Enjoyed travelling by train. We enjoyed the guided tours and had excellent guides - mainly just for the 2 of us.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It is quite a busy holiday with lots to experience. We wish we’d built in more time just to ‘be’ and savour.It was our first experience of using train as the main mode of travel. Just need a little time to get used to finding your way around. Having all the train numbers and info about each journey to hand helped especially in bigger stations3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All the people we met in hotels, BandBs, guides etc were locals so supporting the local economy Travel by train has a lower impact on environment? The company organising the holiday is also local. We found local people generally very helpful4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

We most enjoyed the small group tours in Tuscany. Our guides were very informative and it was pleasant to be in a very small group. And, of course the scenery and the old villages were beautiful.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be clear about what your needs are with regard to location of hotels etc and also about the kinds of things you would like to see.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes and no. We caught the train for long distances but were in a bus for the short tours. Other than the fact that we purchased local products our trip probably did not benefit the local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

You may like to know that your guides and drivers, besides the owners of the hotels are all local people. We are a local company too, a very small one not a
big tour operator or wholesaler therefore I am sure you will be happy to know that your holiday benefited the locals more than you thought

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
I enjoyed going slightly off the beaten track. The days in Cremona and Padua were particularly memorable.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I enjoyed eating in local restaurants and cafés , away from the centres. Be open to whatever happens - I certainly found people very kind and helpful.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I travelled by train almost every day. I would say that the Italians are very environmentally aware, and recycling facilities were obvious. As I mentioned, I ate locally.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Verona was very special. It's beautiful in the evening and visiting the 2000 year old Arena was particularly special. I also particularly liked cities located on a river or lake.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
