Get ready for one of the most unforgettable holidays of a lifetime..!!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Very much so. We stayed in small rural villages along the river, ate in local restaurants etc. This brings revenue into local communities4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The river was beautiful as expected. Our guides Sergio and Marcos and driver Miguel took such good care of us. Every detail was seen to, and my fondest memories will be of their care and kindness.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Yes. We stayed in small, locally-owned inns that were very nice. Our lunches and water were packed in reusable containers.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The views from the vineyards and forested areas from the river were fantastic. The kayaking was really nice. We especially loved the hike through the vineyards and walking around smaller villages in the late afternoons. The guides and our driver were very friendly and helpful. We really felt they were our friends just a few days into the trip.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Yes. We used local resources (restaurants, hotels, small shops, and taxi drivers). We used public transportation for much of the trip.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
