1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Some ladies singing at our last nights dinner, in a local restaurant with a SA band playing. Also seeing the flora, the Cape Town waterfront, Klein Karoo, but all the places were fantastic. Stunning scenery. A fun and informative guide. Even with the problems in SA, there was joy around. Amazing and beautiful people.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

There are no bureau de change outlets. Only at the airport. And banks which takes a while! I meant to get set up with a Wise card but didn't, so advise others to do so. Do take warm clothes; the weather can change.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I do hope so. I loved the fact that many gift shops and African markets sell products made from recycled materials. I think the local people benefited. I was interested in the flora, and love the work being done at Kirstenbosch in Cape Town, for example. More nature reserves could be included in future itineraries I reckon. Or set up a plant lovers and birdwatching, new tour option?

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I absolutely loved it!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Visiting a private game reserve

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be prepared to eat three meals a day even though only breakfast is included. Our trip took place over the Christmas holidays so we were booked in for lunch and dinner every day until we got to Cape Town. Food and drink is very reasonable and the guide took us a number of places to experience local food

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We used local facilities thereby benefitting the local community and were reminded to recycle and reduce wherever possible.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Brilliant holiday highlighting the beauty and diversity of South Africa.

It benefitted local people and supported conservation. We stayed in some local guest houses and visited local restaurants. We visited the Township that supports the local school.

Justin, our guide , was passionate about his country and very informative of the history, present state of South Africa and flora and fauna. With his humour and friendliness he was an excellent guide in all ways.
