The most memorable part of my vacation was the incredible landscape and routes I took.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Every day had incredible views. Montenegro is beautiful! Cycling down into the bay of Kotor on our last day after staying the night in the Lovcen national park was unforgettable.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Come prepared fitness wise to tackle 30 miles a day then you will enjoy it. Train on a few hills as 2 of the days have significant climbs. However, the views are worth it.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We came in late May and it was early season. The places we visited needed our custom. Cycling is environmentally friendly so always good. Locally owned hotels were used which was great!4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Throughly great experience. The routes chosen allowed us to see some incredible countryside. This is our 4th cycle holiday and the best one so far. 3e travel were very helpful and responsive to our needs. Transfers were always on time and accommodations excellent.Marlies Kappers review 22 Jul 2025
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Cycling around the Bay of Kotor was wonderful.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Two nights in Albania was too many as the scenery/cycle on the second day is not fantastic. I would suggest requesting that you spend two days in the National Park (we stayed at Monte Rosa hotel) and this would allow you to have a walk in the forests on the second day or spend it at the swimming pool at the hotel and relaxing. Also, if you are travelling as a family with children ask the tour operator to book family rooms at the hotels - we have 3 children and ended up paying a single supplement for each of the hotels when there were rooms where the 3 kids could have slept together and would have made the holiday more affordable. A lot of the cycling is done on roads without cycle paths so you need to be a fairly confident cyclist.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I do feel our holiday benefitted local people as the hotels that we stayed in seemed to be independent operators and not part of massive chains.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We really enjoyed our holiday. The app used to provide the cycling routes was very reliable and accurate and the hotels that we stayed in were all very comfortable. The only significant improvement that I can suggest is that the 2 days are not spent in Albania.Anne Maclean review 30 Apr 2025

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
some of the cycle rides and scenery and local welcome2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Some of the rides are quite long and hilly - as the bikes are quite heavy. You will be on your own if the bikes have puncture or other failure. The accommodation was mixed - some more luxurious than others - but the most basic was the best in terms of welcome and willingness to help - so read mixed to mean better than might have expected. We caught the train from Bar to Belgrade after the holday - which is one of Europe's most spectacular (need to book seats a few days in advance), and that was a good way to end holiday. We also opted out of cycling one day - where we were satying in accommodation in the Bay of Kotor for 2 nights - which was the right decision fot us that day.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
up to a point - local accommodation, taxis, restauarants etc4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
excellent - we had a debate whether 4 or 5 stars in family. The operator were very responsive e.g. when app was playng up they found another and uploaded the routes etc. The staff were good natured whenever we spoke. However, despite two email requests and reassuring answers catering for our vegan son was a pain. The operator insisted they advised the accommodation. The accommodation said they had not. The tour operator were going to charge for moving bikes when forecast weather made unsafe - but then changed their minds without any argument. They then went above and beyond and retrieved stuff left in one accommodation and sorted out some train reservations. They need to find a way that you can pay via cc as the bank transfer process they have is complicated and expensive, and does not offer the same protection as payment by a cc. Fortunately Rosie's RT guaranteed the payment - which shows RRT's faith in 3etravel.Diane Cook review 19 Sep 2024

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Loved the variety of scenery and historical places,. The tour operator was excellent, went out of their way to help you before and after the trip. The accommodation was all great with good breakfasts in most to get you going. Because of the heat we started earlier than on the programe which worked well.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Definitely do some cycle training before hand, as some of the hills involve 600m climbs. We are slow and started early to do the climbs early, and then got to our destination with time to explore. Also stock up each morning with some food as isn't always anywhere to get food until later.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All accommodation was locally owned and staff were always super helpful.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent we loved it.Eva Seltner review 25 Aug 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Discovering little pockets of natural beauty and the local cuisine was memorable. There were farmers markets and astonishing forests. It was delicious but we did manage to get food poisoning on the last day, very memorable ??2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
The tour company provides a sim card with app down load and they are really helpful. But without a mobile/ headphone it is quite challenging to navigate. A lot of riding on roads with considerate motorists. All accommodation had aircon and local charm. The bikes and equipment were top notch. Transfers were always on time. Drazens support was excellent.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We think it definitely assisted locals. The other two not so much.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was really beautiful in parts. We recommend it .We struggled with the level of littering and pollution at times though.Holiday Reviews
