This was a brilliant holiday. The accommodation was superb - the best of any cycling trip I've had in Europe. The routes were well chosen with a mix of off road and on road. We would recommend this holiday to anyone interested in beautiful countryside and fine food. We only wish it was longer!read more

We were blessed with excellent weather and enjoyed beautiful scenery in the Tyresta National Park and on the islands or Uto, Alo and Orno. We saw deer, moose, hare and many different birds, including osprey, white-tailed eagle and common crane. It’s hard to single out one thing. We enjoyed wonderful accommodations, especially the cottage on Dalaro. The island hikes were all great, especially the section on Uto. When you don’t know the region or the language and you’ve never done a walking tour, it’s a real leap of faith to throw yourself on the mercy of a stranger to ensure you can get where you are going, have fun doing it and not worry too much. Great way to explore Sweden. Visiting the different towns and villages gave a good insight into the more traditional countryside of Sweden. People were all very friendly everywhere we went. The Cakes or FIKA! Seeing the different towns at the end of each day added a lot of interest. Also interesting to see different castles and gardens and nature reserves. There were many moments, but kayaking at Vrango Island, Sweden was a highlight. Oh, forgot about staying in cabins in Gudvangen, Norway with a waterfall in view, was outstanding. Then from there, the Naeroyfjord cruise to Flam. What can I say? Too many memorable parts to choose just one.read more
