1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The two most memorable parts were the connections I made with other people and the joyful vibe. The other hikers were all incredible humans and the team that guided us -- Hanane and Mama Bia, the hosts in our gites, and our cooking team were all delightful.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be flexible. Because of the terrain and the location of villages, the first two hiking days were considerably shorter than the last 2. Pack a hiking pole as some of the ground is scrabbly.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I hope it did. I feel like we supported local businesses as much as possible and were very mindful about environmental impacts. That said, we are relatively wealthy tourists coming into a small, rural communities.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was fabulous.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The whole thing was extraordinary. ...the scenery, the people, the experience.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be open for the experience and to immerse yourself. Day 3 is long and hot - bring a good water bottle. Some of the terrain is rocky, so have good shoes.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Suspect all three... definitely the first.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Superb - a holiday I will remember for a lifetime.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Being with the Berber/Amazigh who are a wonderful and generous people. Without their kindness and care of me, I would not have had the fabulous holiday.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Ensure you have a local SIM to be able to stay in touch with group leader or representatives of the operator. Morocco is very safe and the company misled me with this information. Water purification tablets and few other minor things were unnecessary. If hotel is changed, query it. I would say, non refundable because of health or other difficulties is not an acceptable thing. A tour leader taking arbitrary decision for not allowing the holiday participants to continue is not fair or equitable.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Most definitely my holiday helped the Berber people. Hopefully the group walked or in my case rode on mules rather than vehicles within the Atlas mountains, conserving air purity.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Overall, very high despite some issues

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Crossing the river in human chains, then being met by a delicious, seemingly miraculous, freshly cooked lunch out in the middle of nowhere. Genuinely felt like it had been magicked up for our benefit.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

The water shoes and sleeping bag are not optional! Also if you have sensitive eyes you may want to skip the kohl.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, definitely.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Fantastic adventure and cultural experience.
