1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing the animals in their natural habitat.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

This trip covered 3000kms in 14 days. A lot of travelling on bumpy roads, in temperatures that topped 40 degrees on some days. Whilst this was to be expected it really wasn't acceptable that our vehicle did not have air conditioning and was very uncomfortable. Most of us had to buy cushions at a local store. Not enough time was given to recoup from very long travelling days so a 2 night stop in more places would have been more beneficial. We also got to see a lot of supermarkets and shopping malls.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Most of the accommodation and tours was staffed by local people.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

An adventure, but exhausting.

Dear Yvonne, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your tour with us. We take all feedback seriously, and consider it when planning our tours. We are happy to hear that overall, you had a good experience on tour. In terms of the distance travelled. Southern Africa is a large expanse of land with a lot of ground to cover. We try and do this in the most balanced way possible, while still making sure that we see all the highlights clients want to see along the way. Our documentation is very clear as to what the expected driving times are daily and this gives a very clear picture of what is to be expected on tour. The Namibian roads are rather corrugated, particularly within Etosha National Park. Unfortunately, to reach the highlights on tour there is simply no alternative but to travel these roads which sometimes can lead to some discomfort. But at the end of each journey the highlights are well worth the trip. Thank you for joining us on tour. Warm regards, John de Jager
