1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The best part of our trip was going into the forest to see the elephants in their natural environment. It was wonderful to see them roaming freely, foraging and playing. We also thoroughly enjoyed meeting the local people in the village and learning about Karen culture.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared to have a wonderful time.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We could see the difference that our holiday, and the efforts of the Elephant Foundation, made to the local people. Us being there provided an income for the local people - they drove us to the village, prepared the lodge where we stayed, prepared all our food,, hosted us for meals, escorted us into the forest to see the elephants and ensured our safety in the forest. I could see the respectful relationship that Sarah from the local operator has established with the local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This experience was the highlight of our holiday in Thailand. I actually didn't want to leave the village. Thank you to the local operator for everything you are doing.Holiday Reviews
