Take breaks! There is no rush…. It’s amazing the regenerative power of a break, having a snack can do! The e- bikes were fantastic.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Definitely riding a bike to all the above!4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I vote this operator for the next Camino !Janet Sivyer review 31 Mar 2025
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Everyday was memorable. We particularly enjoyed the Natural parks on the second and fifth days of cycling and the gorge on the third day but everyday was different and interesting.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Consider having an extra day in Villena at the beginning to visit the castle and explore and at least one extra day in Valencia where there is so much to see.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We stayed in local accommodation and ate in locally owned cafes and restaurants. We stayed in small towns that were off the usual tourist routes.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent. The route was well planned and very interesting. The GPS provided worked really well and the other maps and App provided were great. The initial meeting was thorough and the equipment provided (panniers/tools etc) were good. The hotels were all great and the staff were all really helpful and friendly offering restaurant suggestions etc. The e-bikes we used were, I think, the best we have ever rented on a self guided trip. many thanks.Monica Britve review 27 Oct 2024

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The variety of the cycling routes and towns and villages visited and the blue skies and oranges as far as the eye could see. Valencia is a super city,too.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Spend some extra time in Valencia. Prepare for quite a bit of bumpy track and climbing (but do-able!). Spend an extra night in Xativa to have time to walk to and explore the castle.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The accommodation in small towns and visits will benefit locals. Travelling by bike had less environmental impact than driving around4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was a wonderful Christmas break. The bikes supplied by the host company were excellent - brand new in fact. The route notes and GPX files together meant we never got lost. The super maps gave us a good appreciation of what was around us whilst en route. The routes themselves were varied and interesting. The accommodation was excellent - super rooms in all accommodations. Tasty breakfasts too. We were given an excellent introduction and explanations by Blas when he delivered our bikes and preliminary contact with Javier was always prompt and helpful. Top marks!Linda Clark review 2 Oct 2024

All of it thought it was seamless . Good communication prior to , during and post trip from Javier. Blass also kept in touch to check we were doing ok and responded quickly to any extra requests The provision of a garmin with maps and clear directions made route finding easy. Most of the route was quiet with very little traffic. Overall a relaxing interesting route with local stops at small bars/ cafes Taxi transport from and back to the airport was wonderful2. 1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
What a wonderful experience! Xavier was incredibly helpful, prompt and accommodating throughout my trip from Biar to Valencia (220km)! He is very professional and patient, making sure that I know how to use the GPS and went through the cycling itinerary with me. As I am from Singapore, I am not very familiar with Spain hence I have many questions for him throughout the trip. He promptly reply me and answer all my questions and ensuring that I have a great and hassle-free trip. The Trekking Bike serve me well especially through road, gravel and windy routes. The itinerary and recommendation of restaurants and places to visit are awesome, I get to see many beautiful sceneries and took many memorable pictures and enjoy some lovely local food! The accommodations are all good and safe for a single female traveller like me. Thank you for making my 1st solo oversea biking trip a memorable one. I will highly recommend the operator and will gladly use them again!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Speak with the operator about the level in difficulties and ensure you are fit enough to travel. Also, check the weather conditions esp for asians/1st timer who has never experience biking long distance oversea eg. Climate issue.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
As I am traveling using a manual bike, I guess it does not create any pollution or environment issue.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Truly encourage people to give this tour a try. I give it 5stars. The itinerary is well designed :).Holiday Reviews
