The gales on the first day - worst winds for 30 years were certainly exciting as we saw boats being swamped in the harbour! Otherwise the friendliness of the people, the fantastic food organised by Thannos and the whole general ambience2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
You need to be reasonably agile, be prepared to be flexible, don't take too much 'kit' and take slip-ons for wearing when the deck gets too hot to stand on in bare feet. Bathing shoes for pebbly beaches are not a necessity but make life much more comfortable - also when the sand gets too hot to stand on.3. Very much helped local people. Having a guide who lived there was a great help. He was exceptional.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The checking-in at Athens Airport was a shambles but that was not the tour operator's fault!!Holiday Reviews
