A wonderful holiday…. Total freedom. The not knowing what was around the next corner, the freedom of the bikes, cycling along with nothing to organise as it was all done for us by Bert. The bikes were very comfortable with smooth gears and gel saddles. Bert met us in Loule and fitted us for the bikes helmets etc and went through all aspects of the trip. Laconica is a hospitable and friendly place, the scenery on the tour is varied, the cycle routes are not too stretching, but enough to feel you've deserved some relaxation at the end of the day. It really is a great way to explore this part of the Peloponnese.read more

This was a brilliant holiday. The accommodation was superb - the best of any cycling trip I've had in Europe. The routes were well chosen with a mix of off road and on road. Overall, the communication leading up to the trip was wonderful. I met with my guide once, and he went over everything with me. The only downfall for me was I did not like the bike, even though it was new. I'm used to riding with more gears and the chain slipped twice resulting in a couple of busted up knees! Very good. Seeing the vast, slowly changing landscapes and deep forests. Good travelling companions, all of different nationalities. Seeing some local cultures relatively close up. The scenery on the route was amazing, especially in the Haute Savoie and Lake Annecy. Great bikes, very nice hotels, generally very quiet roads/cycle paths and the luggage transfers went very smoothly. We had a brilliant time. The Bergamo to Verona cycle tour provided an excellent opportunity to explore this historic and scenic area of Italy. The varied landscape ranging from gentle flat countryside to undulating hill and mountain scenery to picturesque lakes was a delight to cycle through. We particularly enjoyed cycling through the extensive wineries of the area and the circuit of Monte Isola island on Lake Iseo. The day we traveled from Ulcinj to Virpazar was wonderful, especially as we got a van ride for the first 20 km, avoiding retracing the section with dangerous cross town traffic and shoulder-less road to the junction. The ride from there was absolutely superb. read more

Excellent. The route was well planned and very interesting. The GPS provided worked really well and the other maps and App provided were great. The initial meeting was thorough and the equipment provided (panniers/tools etc) were good. The day riding to Ranakpur and actually being able to manage 80km on a very hot day The hotels we stayed in were all amazing in different ways. We had a wonderful time. We cycle a reasonable amount in the uk but my wife had never done a multi day tour before and never covered the distances we did before but found it remarkably easy and extremely rewarding.
