How you pack is really important. Staying in a different hotel each night with usually early starts means repacking can be a bit of a drag.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes but I think more could be done4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The Berber camp2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take all of the things recommended on the kit list. Elect for as many of the extras as you can afford- they are quite minimal costs and the activities are all great fun.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. This was something that I liked when I booked it and Brahim talked very knowledgeably about the environment / conservation.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This holiday has exceeded all expectations. Considering the very reasonable cost we were blown away by the care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble and the country is fascinating.Natasha Dupont review 2 Nov 2025

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
From start to end our tour was brilliant. The booking process was easy and the tour operator was so responsive to any questions i had. The organisation, communication and detail was great. What made the tour for us was our guide, he was excellent. His knowledge but also how he interacted with us and the kids, just made the trip even better.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This is an ideal family holiday adventure, packed with loads of activities for teens and adults alike!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Absolutely, our guide was very clear to point out when we were visiting local sites and supporting local people. It felt really special to be doing this.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Could not rate this higher. It was our first "tour" holiday and it's set the bar really high!Toni Matulick review 1 Jan 2025
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The exceptional mountain scenery, Kasbahs and Ait Benhaidou. Also our exceptional guide, Younes, and driver, Hamid.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This is great value and good for active, adventurous kids. There’s lots of longish mini bus travel so kids need to be prepared for it.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Somewhat- staying in local places and visiting small restaurants was good. I would have liked to visit the carpet cooperative for longer. It was fantastic and we definitely would have spent more money if there was more time there. Like all travel, it’s not impact-free but I felt like our guide and group were conscious of this. Animal welfare issues are quite confronting, like street dogs and cats in not very good condition and the poor horses in Marrakech driving people around, so more support for SPANA and other animal welfare organisations would be good.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fantastic- our group, guide and driver were excellent. Younes the guide is an exceptional person. He really made the trip go well. We enjoyed learning about his Berber heritage.Read the operator's response here:
We appreciate your lovely feedback Toni and are glad you enjoyed your teen tour in Morocco.
Unfortunately, there are not so many vets or animal rescues in the more Mountainous regions and this is something we would love to see and help with in the future. We will pass your feedback on to Younes. Thank you

It definitely benefited local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Riding a camel at sunset in the Sahara desert.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I travelled with my 17 yo daughter, we had a great time together but also were able to make new friends, so were not isolated in a family bubble.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were able to purchase directly from the makers on several occasions. The cooking class was with a local family. We could not have done this on our own.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I feel supremely relaxed as if I had been on a much longer holiday, as we packed so much in, but without any of the stress of having to sort out all the best places to go, to stop, to shop, to eat, to find a toilet, to stay, to swim….I could go on!Read the operator's response here:
Your feedback means so much and we really appreciate it. Lovely you hear you made friends and could not have done a lot of activities on your own so the organised group tour worked well for you. Thank you Hilary.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Camels in the Sahara at sunset.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Travelling can take longer than expected. Be prepared for all eventualities because you may get an upset stomach at some point so take appropriate medication. Also check if sleeping bags are really needed.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we were using local hotels and local people for guides etc. We were eating traditional food.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
That would be different for different members of family: camel trek and buying shoes, for our child; Ait Ben Haddou and meeting the women in carpet cooperative, for the adults.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
There is a lot of packing and unpacking and sitting around on a bus. Pack light and check the weather. While it might say to bring a sleeping bag, we didn’t use these in the desert. Be prepared for at least 5-6 hours travel per day and sitting down. There are lots of stops and far too much food, but that might suit some families. I brought a spare bag and just put stuff you might need in that to save packing and unpacking looking for stuff. While the water-to-go bottles are great, you really just need a water bottle as our guide bought large 10 plus litres and we just filled up at each stop. Be prepared to make fairly quick and decisive shopping decisions. There isn’t much time at some of the cooperatives or stations and if you miss it, you miss out. Talk with your fellow travellers and just ask everyone to slow down a bit. I would have preferred to have less stops for coffee and lunch time and more time mooching around. It’s very safe, we felt happy walking around on our own.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I wish I’d had more time at the women’s carpet cooperative. Not sure the environment is any different to ours. Conservation - debatable, I felt less connection with the Moroccan people than I would have liked. I wanted to experience something more.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Yeah, it’s a good whistle stop tour. It caters for safe, door stop travel. My step count in the first 5 days was below 1000 per day which is not good. I would think it depends on your guide and driver. They were incredibly kind people. More info and time with local spots would have been more appreciated.Read the operator's response here:
Thank you for taking the time to review this tour Charlie. It is interesting to know the guide bought a large water for all to share as this is not always the case. There is a lot of travel to see the areas covered but we do try to break this up with stops. Sorry you were not able to spend more time at the carpet cooperative. Glad you felt safe being there as a family of two and enjoyed it overall. Thankyou.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
I think for all of us the Sahara was a highlight - being there, the camel ride for sunset, sleeping outside the tents under the stars, wandering among the dunes for sunrise. But everyday was well thought out with memorable visits or sights.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I was a little uncertain as we have never done a tour before but it was a great way to understand the country, see places we would never visit or understand alone and set us up brilliantly for a week on our own afterwards.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The places we stayed and ate seemed well chosen to be feeding some money back into the local communities. Environmentally it felt as if we could have done more, even if was just collecting the plastic water bottles and ensuring they were recycled but that looked very challenging in some of the more remote locations.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We had a great trip. It felt like an absolute luxury to have our own private guide and driver as there was no one else on the tour.Read the operator's response here:
Really lovely to hear your family had a great time on our teen tour in Morocco.
Morocco is behind other countries when it comes to recycling so at the moment, this is only possible in larger cities. We do recommend filter water bottles for our tours.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and tips Lucy. Much appreciated!
