Reviews for Small group holiday to Nepal
Trevor Eales review 22 Oct 2025
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Seeing the Himalayas. Make the early morning effort to watch the sun rise over the Himalayas when in Pokhara. If you can afford it, don't miss the optional early morning flight to Mount Everest.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that with current road conditions in Nepal, the journey between Chitwan and Bhaktapur is long, bumpy and arduous. The holiday itinerary said it should take 5.5 hours. It actually took over 9.5 hours!!!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Aspects of the trip certainly did. Preparing and eating lunch in the Tibetan refugee camp in Pokhara benefitted people. It was great fun too! Visit to Chitwan park was informative, supported conservation and was enjoyable.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Really enjoyable holiday. Well lead by our guide, with some exceptional experiences. Only real negative was the previously mentioned travel time on one day.Frances Magnani review 17 Nov 2023
