1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Most memorable was the Wenwou Temple at Sun Moon Lake, the biking and ferry ride too. The hike amid the cypress trees at Alishan was also super!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Long days walking in the sun. Be sure to wear supportive footwear, sun hat and sunscreen, and stay hydrated. Family Mart convenience stores have free restrooms and many businesses also accommodate those that need a restroom.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, the trip benefited sellers in street markets. And guide and driver work freelance. A lot of plastic water bottles. Perhaps the Alishan Mountain visit benefits conservation.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A lot depends on the guide. Our guide Jenny is passionate about sharing her knowledge of Taiwanese culture and history. Also she had a lot of info on the aboriginal peoples of Taiwan, the Japanese occupation. Jenny knows the National Palace Museum like the back of her hand.Holiday Reviews
