1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Danube river valley, roman ruins of Felix Romouliana, Kotor Bay.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Just do it. Very diversified regions, lots of history and local culture. Off the beaten track, stayed in small family run hotels in the mountains of Montenegro. Other travellers were very interesting women. We all got along very well. Exceptional, knowledgeable guide, very personable driver. Hotels were a mixed bag of comfortable, simple, a few not so good but we were not in major tourist areas.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Seeing some of the most beautiful paintings in the monasteries and gaining a greater understanding of the politics and religion of the region.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Not to overload your luggage as not all hotels had lifts. Depending on when you go pack for all weathers - we went from sleet and snow in the mountains of Montenegro to 30 degrees in Dubrovnik.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We ate in local restaurants.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was a very interesting and enjoyable holiday. Our guides were excellent. The loss of a star is because some of the hotels were either quite tired and in need of an update with little things like the shower door not shutting properly to a couple which were out of town with no amenities which meant had our guide not offered to take and collect us would have in one instance involved a half hour walk each way in sleet to a restaurant and in another a similar length walk along a busy road with no pavement.Holiday Reviews
