1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The breathtaking landscape of Tajikistan and the opportunity of peeping into Afghanistan that was for most of the time just few meters away.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be flexible and don’t expect western comfort or good food. Go with a long book because the part in Kyrgyzstan has lot of dead time.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Definitely benefits local people because only local structures are used.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The first part was exceptional, the guide was very very good, with excellent English, ready to change plans if needed, knowledgeable, witty, in a word memorable. The second part was less well organized, the guide didn’t look so expert and the tour could have been squeezed without missing anything: lot of wasted time, late starts and early arrivals, two days in a jurt definitely too much.John Scott review 14 Jul 2024
