1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Flying down to Neuras with N/a'an ku se founder Ruedi Van Vurren and hearing about the wider work of the foundation. A unique experience, well worth every extra penny.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Just embrace the whole experience - there's nothing like it! Remember that it's volunteering, not a holiday. Some tasks are more exciting than others but often those are the ones that help the amazing staff most of all. I found value in everything I did. Also, be prepared for the wifi and sometimes the water to come and go. It's just how it is....3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A fantastic experience. The time with the cheetahs and baboons is of course very special, but above all it's about being part of something with a bigger purpose!Selena Gallagher review 3 Aug 2025
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It's impossible to choose! There were so many highlights and once in a lifetime experiences. One of the best things about this trip was that every day is different and you never know what adventures might await.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Plan to spend at least two weeks at the main sanctuary in order to have the opportunity to participate in all the different activities. Be sure to also sign up for at least one of the other project weeks. They are all very different so consider what kind of adventure you are looking for. I did the TimBila week, the Kanaan Desert Retreat and the Coastal Conservation Week. They were all fantastic, but TimBila was an absolute highlight.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Absolutely! The N/a'an ku sê Foundation is doing such good work all across Namibia with both wildlife and people, and as a volunteer you are directly contributing to those efforts, as well as helping to support the employment of many local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Amazing! Incredible! Awesome! I don't have enough superlatives to describe how great this trip was. :)ManharHi Patel review 22 Jul 2025

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
My three weeks there were actually spend at 3 different locations-The Animal Sanctuary (Farm centre,) Neuras (A vinery and Actively Centre) and Kannan (Desert centre). They were all very different and it actually turned into more of a Holiday than a Volunteering project-which as fine Most memorable part was the Ecology Walks with the local. very informative Group coordinators2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
As a volunteering centre it is of good standard, and if adaptable, social and outgoing, and willing to mix, it will be well enjoyed!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. I consider these volunteering events very much as a "win, win "scenario for both parties-Volunteers and local communities Have been on better ones-interface with local communities little limited but there were opportunities for committed involvement in a Medical centre if desired but causal interface with the local school/communites was very limited!4.
