1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The facts that everything went off according to plan. + excellent choice of hotels. Excellent choice of guides. Taxis etc always on time . Etc2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Go end of September or early October.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I have heard that large cruise ships were going there - that should be stopped immediately. Disgusting that this should happen to a revered site such as this.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

All of it, but to chose one, then the Ring of Brodgar on Orkney. And going inside the Maeshowe 5500 year old chambered cairn.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
If you have an interest in history and landscape, you’ll love it.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we stayed in locally owned hotels, not chains, we stopped at local cafes, and we had several different local guides. The big bus on Orkney was not necessary - a smaller vehicle would have been more efficient.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I absolutely loved it. I’ll never forget it. Our guide, Dan, was superb - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, really interested in what he was showing and telling us and interested in our group.Marie Louise Mills review 10 Jul 2022
