If there were 100 stars, it would not be enough. We could see going back in a few years. We went in late April, 2025 with our adult children (all in their mid 30's) two of whom were vegan. One of the best tours I have ever done! Sicily has many facets: a long very interesting history, wonderful archaeology sites and excellent museums, great scenery and coastlines, memorable excellent cuisine with the freshest locally grown ingredients, and it’s not as expensive as many other places in Europe. read more

The Bergamo to Verona cycle tour provided an excellent opportunity to explore this historic and scenic area of Italy. The varied landscape ranging from gentle flat countryside to undulating hill and mountain scenery to picturesque lakes was a delight to cycle through. We particularly enjoyed cycling through the extensive wineries of the area and the circuit of Monte Isola island on Lake Iseo. The itinerary combinations were excellent. Vesuvius was of course iconic and therefore a buzz, despite rim walks not being permitted on the day we visited. We did spend half on the time on a less busy trail though. The site guide the provider company selected at Pompeii was knowledgeable and witty. Each of the walks were special and varied in their own way. Fresh lemon and orange juice hand squeezed by a woman working from her home was particularly lovely after the path of the gods route.read more

We loved Porec and Rovinj, but we were thrilled by everywhere we visited in Istria. From hilltop towns to the coast it is a gorgeous part of the world and no better way to experience it all than from the saddle of an e-bike! The people were welcoming and there were always places to stop for a coffee. The routes were well designed and kept us away from the traffic for the most part.
