1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
So many wonderful experiences, the bat exodus at mulu caves, the caves, the wild orangutans, proboscis monkeys, crocs, fireflies, birds, insects. River trips, every thing was wonderful and diverse. We were so lucky to have Stephanie as our guide she was a joy., so knowledgable and fun. She looked after us and accommodated our needs.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a poncho, a few wet bags, good bug spray. Good grip trainers for hikes. Rehydration tablets. Good binoculars. There was a fair bit of hiking at the beginning of the trip and the humidity is quite high but as a mature woman of average fitness I found it to be manageable and intrepid give you the option on one of the hikes to opt out and go by boat if you prefer. This trip is an adventure.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
From start to finish this trip was truly the trip of a lifetime. We managed to fit in so many different experiences and we saw lots of wildlife wonderful food. The Malaysian people are so friendly and always smiling and helpful. I would highly recommend this trip and if you get Stephanie as your guide, even better.Howard Reece-Smith review 25 Apr 2024
