We really enjoyed all of it. We especially enjoyed the less visited parks, as it is magical seeing all the wildlife and very few vehicles.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Ask about options to see more than just the big, well known parks. The tented camps are really nice.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, the local operator we used funds school fees for a number of students. Also, the camps used are owned by Tanzanians.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Go with the flow of the tour. Pack as little as possible, you don't need much for an 8 day safari in terms of clothes.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I hope so, but its hard to actually know were the money we paid went. Now if we had a break down of money allocation as part of the responsible travel transparency, that would be a game changer.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We had incredible opportunities to see the most amazing animals close up, so wildlife encounters were the definite highlight. We chose to go on a longer safari since this maximized our time on our once-in-a-lifetime trip. This meant that we were able to appreciate the wonders of the well-known parks of Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater but also to have the Endumet Wildlife Conservation area and Mkomazi National Park virtually to ourselves. We believe that we had the best guide in Africa. Abu had an uncanny knack to spot animals and birds and willingly shared his vast knowledge of wildlife, plants, geography and history. He patiently answered all our questions about daily life in Tanzania and even tried to teach us Swahili.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared for long days in the vehicle but you will not be bored! There are endless conversations and sights. Roads are rough and dusty and you will appreciate your conscientious driver.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were happy to use a small local company, so that the financial benefits stayed in the communities in the country. The company supports local initiatives such as environmental and empowerment projects.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent! Outstanding! After a lifetime of saying I wanted to get to Africa someday, I finally did it! The whole trip far exceeded my already high expectations. If you can possibly swing it, go!! You will not regret it.Holiday Reviews
