1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Mulu National Park was beautiful and there was so much to see and do. The guides are so knowledgeable and wanting to share.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Pack with heat and rain in mind. I wish I had brought shorts; soaked pants, socks, and boots isn’t the most comfortable hiking experience. Even though packing light is important, my heavier boots waterproof to the ankle would have served better in the mud and rain than light hiking shoes which once soaked, stayed that way. Also, the packing list/essential information isn’t quite clear on the baggage situation for heading to Mulu. You can bring a checked bag and a carry-on on the flight, while your main luggage is heading to Limbang. I would recommend one of those hiking packs that has a smaller pack/pouch that zips off so you can use the little one for day stuff in Mulu and Bako (sunscreen, bug spray, water, raincoat) and then put everything together for the hike to Camp 5 and Headhunter’s Trail.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, taking public transit options where possible, eating in local cafes, and all guides and supports were local.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
One of the best vacations I’ve ever taken.Carolyn Edwards review 31 Aug 2024

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The days in Mulu National Park2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be intrepid! Parts of this tour are physical and also challenge your perception of luxury. You have to remember that this is a special and novel experience3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes! Definitely. I could see how the tour was delivered by local people and reduced environmental impact. All guides in the NP lived and grew up locally. Our tour guide Nizam had grown up in Baku NP so his knowledge of wildlife and negotiating the rain forest was excellent. Our group was in reliable and knowledgeable hands.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fantastic! This holiday met my expectations and more. The sights were novel and amazing and I was physically challenged.Matt Green review 8 Jul 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The most memorable aspect of the holiday for me was the sheer abundance and diversity of wildlife we encountered in every location we visited.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Keep in mind that there are not a lot of activities included within the holiday itself, therefore make sure to have a budget that allows you to participate in as many of the activities as possible while you are there.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I definitely believe that we helped to support local communities, notably when we spent some time with local families in Juanillama.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Jungle walk at night and the Perhentian islands2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It's very hot and humid all the time. Be prepared. There are several travel days in between where you are really only sitting on a bus... So bring your book3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Support of locals yes. As we used local guides, local drivers and local accommodation. The local guides picked up trash during our trips which I liked4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was great. I really enjoyed it. We had an amazing guide and we were only a group of 3. Don't know how much different it would be with a bigger group.Holiday Reviews
