An amazing holiday. Would definitely recommend. I’m 65 female sharing the experience with my 39 year old son. I was looking forward to the spectacular scenery and any whales or northern lights would be a bonus. We were lucky to see both, with whales in abundance.read more

The most memorable part of our trip to Lapland, Finland, was spending time in the Arctic Circle and making personal connections with the Sami people—the Sami museum, the Husky sleigh ride, ice fishing, and meeting a Sami woman and having conversations about life on her reindeer farm.read more

We enjoyed many high lights – the first being the opportunity to drive ourselves on a six husky dog lead sleigh through pristine evergreen snowy forest – the Siberian huskies were a wonderful experience – our guide was knowledgeable, passionate and thorough and leading an exciting husky dog experience – it was such an adventure! A sleigh ride led by reindeer into the forest at night to view the northern lights were spectacular – we were fortunate enough to see the northern lights dancing ...read more

Every component was outstanding. Tankavaara was perfect; food, staff, accommodation excellent...particularly loved the areas history. Trips were really well organised. Loved the husky sledding and the reindeer! On the last night the snowmobile trek onto the tundra was so exhilarating and we witnessed the most incredible northern lights.read more

The most memorable part was having tea at Fatima's home in the Berber village, followed by dinner under the stars. Both really beautiful experiences. The most exciting was the day the whole team reached the summit of Jebel Lkest, setting off before dawn to make up ground from the day before, and then making it all the way to our camp for the night.read more

Location was wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the valley. The staff at all three accommodation places really made an effort to look after us and took time to answer questions both before and during our trip. Really quite exceptional.read more

The accommodation is set in the most tranquil of locations. The farm-house turned lodge offered brilliant views and was the comfiest of accommodations where solo travellers don't pay any supplements for single rooms (just how amazing is that?).read more

You will be well taken care of in every aspect by Riitta. Cold weather clothing, food (so delicious and plentiful), transporting us everywhere with her expert snow driving, and nicely paced activities.... Fantastic. So much fun. Fantastic ! The snow shoeing and walking were great and were very well led. Lucy and Simon are welcoming, attentive and thoughtful hosts. The Casa is a comfortable and set in a beautiful location. And all meals at the Casa were delicious!read more

The Husky Safari although it was all amazing. To be taken through such beautiful land by the dogs was a fantastic experience. Also the delicious soup they cooked for the lunch round a fire. We loved hearing all their stories too.read more
