1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Coming back to the house after a day exploring and sitting on the balcony with the most amazing views will live with us for a long time. The house is in a small village, 50 houses or so perched on the side of a mountain with amazing views up and down the mountain. Lake Como, our walk in Switzerland and the hike up to the next village were great.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
The house is kitted out with every thing you need for self catering, but if you don't fancy another drive down to Chiavenna in the valley in the evening the only restaurant in the village (in the old school) served excellent food with stunning views.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were encouraged to purchase from local shops rather than the super market, the house had been refurnished using local trades people and the electricity can from a a hydro electric plant.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Our stay was wonderful. The house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, the views were fantastic and you really felt like you were part of a small village in Italy. Location wise it was close to Lake Como and Switzerland and it was possible to drive back to the UK in a day without a very early start.Janet Morris review 21 Jul 2019

The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking. Sipping coffee on the balcony and soaking up the beauty of the mountains and the valley below was good for the soul.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Absolutely excellent. Best holiday we’ve had. A real authentic Italian village experience. One evening a group of locals had a sing song sitting outside their houses. Glorious melodies and harmonies drifting down the valley was an incredibly special experience. They even waved for us to come and join in!! The house is comfortable and very well equipped, with some nice homely featuressuch as board games. Even the sofa bed is comfortable!
