1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
2 I can't decide between. The boat tour of the waterways at Tortuguero, seeing a real life,wild crocodile is surreal. And the dolphin tour at Samara, false killer whales around the boat. And seeing a humpback whale with her calf was amazing.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a Travel kettle,a lot of the hotels didn't have one and I missed having a cup of tea lol. We got a taxi from the airport to our final hotel,15 mins ride. I was told it would cost about $10. We were horrified when we got there and he wanted $45. So ask beforehand how much it's going to cost. Uber was recommended to me but they let me down at times, so it was a bit hit and miss.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, shared buses, bought local crafts. And guides made sure we followed rules about what we could and couldn't do while visiting the parks etc.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Trip of a lifetime, me and my granddaughter learned so much about the country and biodiversity. We saw everything we were hoping to see and more. And the guides made sure we got good photos to remember it all.Louise Desai review 9 Aug 2024

None of us will ever forget watching a giant green sea turtle laying over 100 eggs in her nest, lit only by the dim red light of the ranger's torch, the stars and the distant lightning. Truly an awesome family experience. Ziplining 750m through the cloud forest was a close second.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take an old mobile! We were switching between the local SIM card and our own SIMs. It would have been really useful just to have had an old phone for local use. Also, mosquitoes bite through leggings!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, it's clear that Costa Rica is a great destination for people that care about our planet and its inhabitants. The government clearly care about protecting its amazing natural resources. The local people take pride in this, and all of the local tour companies did too.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Epic! We have so many amazing memories from this trip. It was perfect for two very different teenagers: one who loved learning about the wildlife and geology, and the other who loved the adrenaline-rush activities.Holiday Reviews
