The mountains around Lake Bohinge and walking the larger and small gorges in the Bled/Bohinge area were lovely.. Driving those beautiful, empty mountain roads everywhere was enjoyable. Tiny farmhouse wine tastings were fun. Cycling trails near Piran were also great. All pensions/hotels were friendly and helpful.read more

We loved Porec and Rovinj, but we were thrilled by everywhere we visited in Istria. From hilltop towns to the coast it is a gorgeous part of the world and no better way to experience it all than from the saddle of an e-bike! The people were welcoming and there were always places to stop for a coffee. The routes were well designed and kept us away from the traffic for the most part. The routes were pleasant and often quiet roads. It was nice to meander between hill towns and the coast. A very satisfying trip with medieval towns and pretty countryside as well as the Adriatic coast. read more

The Tolmin Gorge and Soca River Valley. Amazing turquoise blue water in the Soca River and beautiful valley as you headed up towards Trenta. Staying in Hotel Triglav on Lake Bled. Really special hotel. Wonderful views and location. A treat. Finishing the holiday with warm sunshine in Izola. Marine Hotel is in a lovely relaxing location and we could easily have spent longer in Izola. read more

Impossible to choose the most exciting thing - it was all fab ! Incredibly diverse landscapes from the rugged peaks of the Triglav Park & the Julian Alps, to the emerald water of the Soca Valley & the lovely Mediterranean town of Piran. read more

Most memorable part of the holiday was the stretch from Roving to Pula on the last day. We rode along the coast on a packed gravel path in a cedar woods with the Adriatic Sea sparkling on our right. Heaven!read more
