Description of Montenegro activity holiday, adrenaline adventure
Our new adrenaline adventure is for sporty people who want to enjoy a huge variety of activities that are challenging! Go white water rafting, which is particularly exciting in Spring, trying out the adrenaline Zip Line over the Tara Canyon, which is over 200 m high! The second activity is a day of mountain biking, a great way to see surrounding villages, valleys and lakes. In the summer it would include wild swimming and taking the ski lift to the top of Savin Kuk mountain (2,315m). There is a 2 day mountaineering trekking activity, firstly to the peak of Bobatov Kuk, at a height of 2,535m, the 2nd Summit is to Red Rock Mountain face (2,164m). The fifth activity is Via Ferrata Rock Climb, an adrenaline climb over the top of Uvita Greda mountain at a height of 2,199m. Our sixth activity is canyoning in the Canyon Nevidio! This is an action packed day, with jumps and passages through the canyon. In the low season, a quad biking activity is possible if weather conditions dont permit canyoning. The quad biking activity is an action packed 4x4 off road journey, that takes guests on a wild tour through the Montenegrin wilderness! Hearty lunches are included on all these days.

Holiday information
Minimum Age:
The minimum age for children on most the activities we offer is 6 years of age.
Children under the age of 6 (0-5 years) go FREE, however they cannot do all of the activities and parents must supervise them at all times. We can arrange babysitting if parents would like to leave their younger children back at camp.
The minimum age for Paragliding, Canyoning, Quad Biking & Horse riding would be 10 Years.
The minimum age for Mountaineering would be 13 Years.
Dietary requirements:
We can cater for vegetarian and vegan diets.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Stan and G up in the mountains. Completing the Via Ferrata mountain climbing was probably the highlight of our trip - such an amazing experience and such spectacular scenery. Felt like a family with Stan and Goca! Great hosts, perfect for our children that were 12 and 14 years old. Some of the activities would have been too difficult for our 12 year old so Stan helped tailor our trip appropriately. We did white water rafting, summit climb, zip wire and quad biking. We left a day earlier to spend a few days on Lake Skadar but wished we stayed the extra day in the mountains! The scenery is beautiful and the canyoning was a highlight for my husband and our two older children. However, the most memorable part was to be welcomed by our hosts Stan and Gotza as if we were family, hearing their stories about the region and feeling like we were a part of the real Montenegro. The most exciting part of our travel was the canyoning! The walk is 1.5 km and there are jumps up to 10 metres high. Local guides (who are also search rescuers) help you with the canyoning and also make pictures. All equipment are provided. Really outstanding experience. We have Montenegrin heritage and are proud of our country & love showing it off to our guests. We love nature and along with the stunning Montenegrin coastline we have majestic mountains in Montenegro, and especially the UNESCO National park of Durmitor. We absolutely love and appreciate our camp which is surrounded by perfect nature & its scenic setting; which guests get to enjoy whilst on activities & relaxing. Along with pristine nature there is an abundance of great Adventure activities on offer, for all guests to take part in, and we hope all our guests have a relaxing, fun filled active holiday stay!Nearly all of our activities have the concept of Eco tourism and mostly all are deemed as not harmful to the environment. Indeed the Durmitor National Park is a UNESCO protected national park and considered an 'Air' spa for visitors!
We provide all our guests with a friendly welcome Traditional Montenegrin meal plus drinks on arrival of stay. We also provide lunches on all activity days; buying most supplies directly from the local farmers market; such as locally produced jams, preserves, berries, meats & cheeses!
Our camp is surrounded by green fields, mountains & forests and we shall be discarding wherever possible all rubbish for recycling. We shall also have our outdoor lights run on solar energy and energy saving bulbs. We also offer our guests free usage of mountain bikes which we shall encourage our guests to use; as Eco transport to get around!
Our Activity team leaders are all local from the area and we hope to show our guests the benefits of protecting our environment on all of our activities. Our Trekking team leaders are also part of the conservation of the Durmitor forest and they will be explaining all aspects of nature to our guests on activities!
People
We directly aim to create jobs and employ & empower local people in this mountainous region, who are heavily dependent on some income from tourism. Locals in the Durmitor region generally live from tourism or farming and so it's a massive chunk of their income to be involved within the sector of tourism.We employ 6 team leaders and also have a staff for the day to day running of our camp. We are hoping that we shall be able to make a difference in the community by employing locals and they shall have a direct benefit of being employed and gaining an income from our weekly activity package stays.
We encourage all of our staying guests to explore Durmitor for themselves on free days and evening times, and hope they'll visit local restaurants, cafes and eateries in the town of Zabljak; which will economically help out other local business's.
Our first season was back in 2013 and we shall hopefully continue to be a success and we shall endeavor to include as much possible for local people to be employed and for income to be spent back into the camp and to stay with the community.
