Excellent. The lodge was fantastic and very well equipped. Bill was the perfect host. His knowledge and attention to detail went above and beyond to make our stay hugely enjoyable. The guides and companies Bill uses to run the kayaking and hiking were both professional and very personable, which made the activities extremely enjoyable. One word - amazing. Cannot recommend this holiday highly enough. All of the arranged trips were excellent and the guides and instructors were knowledgeable and good fun. The accommodation was very comfortable for us (2 adults and 2 children) Read full reviewReviewed on 31 Aug 2025 by Tom Preston
We had a really wonderful time. The kids enjoyed everything and it was wonderful to have a slice of Williams extensive knowledge. We made some wonderful memories and would love to go back to climb those amazing hills when a little cooler. Read full reviewReviewed on 06 Aug 2025 by Catherine Chamberlin
A fantastic two weeks in an incredibly beautiful part of Greece. Read full reviewReviewed on 27 Jul 2025 by Rhiannon Jenkinson
Perfect 2 weeks in the sun, ideal for families and for where you have a mix of beach and mountain lovers. Good mix of relaxation and activities and within easy distance of historical sites if you want to mix in a bit of culture. The lodge itself is in a beautiful location looking over the olive grove down to the sea, with a good pool to use, as well as outdoor areas to sit and chill with a book. Everything we did with William was special. We loved getting to meet one of the lead archaeologists at Nestor’s Castle and getting to see a behind the scenes peak at the ongoing dig. All the archaeological sites we visited were made special by Williams knowledge which was freely shared. We loved our visit to the cave with a wonderful guide. All the restaurants he took us to were fabulous and he chose excellent items for us. Read full reviewReviewed on 13 Jul 2025 by Karen Bennett
All the trips and activities William arranged for us were fantastic and it was great to have something to look forward to every day and we felt like we got to see the authentic side of Greece! Our highlights were the waterfalls at Neda, canyoning and the boat trip at Pylos. All the meals we had in the tavernas William recommended were amazing. A 5 star holiday that we would recommend to anyone looking for adventure and a true taste of Greece! Our two teenagers loved the activities, the beaches, the food and even a bit of history! Brilliant. Read full reviewReviewed on 08 Aug 2024 by Helen Styring
I travelled as a single parent with two teenage sons, we all thoroughly enjoyed the different activities, the canyoning was definitely a highlight as was the idyllic river swim mid MTB ride, really each day will leave lasting memories. Bill is a very thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable host but most of all he has clearly gone out of his way to ensure guests enjoy a personal experience that really reflects the character of the area without lots of other tourists plus Sakis knowledge of the region and local suppliers ensures every day is a pleasure. The week we spent was exactly what we were looking for. It was as active as we wanted it to be, we got to see a lot of the beautiful region they live in and really immersed ourselves into local life... All four of us were sad to leave but full of great memories and with two new friends. Read full reviewReviewed on 06 Aug 2023 by Debra Desmond

This was hands down, the best money and time I have ever spent for myself. I arrived feeling burnt-out, edgy, negative and run down. I left feeling whole, happy, at peace and more myself than I have in years. Read full reviewReviewed on 07 Oct 2019 by Jacky Long
Each day brought different delights - from visiting the local market, to exploring the waterfalls at Polylimnia, from eating at restaurants on the edge of the sea, to swimming in a heavenly bay at Voidekelia Read full reviewReviewed on 13 May 2019 by Karina Heavey
