Lunch at Najd Village supports local farmers through the use of regionally sourced ingredients, while walking through Souk Al Zal limits carbon impact and sustains traditional markets.

The final day includes strolling through Al Ula’s Old Town on foot, promoting slow travel and supporting artisans through purchases of traditional crafts.

We can accommodate both vegetarians and vegans. We work with restaurants and hotels to ensure suitable meal options are available, and our team is happy to make special arrangements if notified in advance.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

The second day focuses on exploring Ad Diriyah and Masmak Fort, where preservation rules ensure minimal disturbance to historic structures.

Elephant Rock is admired from designated viewing points to prevent erosion. Visits to UNESCO site Al Hegra and Dadan are led by trained guides who follow conservation protocols, safeguarding over 110 ancient tombs and archaeological wonders.

We encourage our guests to dine at family-run restaurants that serve traditional Saudi cuisine and to shop from local artisans in souks. For example, we often recommend local eateries in AlUla serving authentic Hejazi dishes and handicraft shops in Riyadh where visitors can purchase traditional clothing, perfumes, and handmade souvenirs.

We employ licensed local Saudi guides who have in-depth knowledge of the culture, history, and traditions. All guides and support staff are paid fair wages in line with local tourism industry standards.
