Taking the kids on holidays can be stressful for a single parent, with no-one to share the workload. Our single parent holidays are an ideal solution – these are organised tours that take the hard work out of the holiday, leaving you with time and energy to enjoy the experience with your kids, and return home relaxed and recharged. If you want to share the experience, and the costs, with other travellers, then we can match you up with families that have kids of similar ages to your own. And if you want a single room or a different room configuration, it’s no problem. With enough notice these can be arranged, and at no extra charge.

Our small group trips offer a convenient and exciting experience for single parent families looking to meet people and make friends. They can also help to make your holidays a bit more affordable, as the group shares the costs of the transport, tour leader and guides.
With holidays that cover lots of ground in popular family destinations, like Cambodia, Sri Lanka or Morocco, packing light is essential, as you’ll be on the move constantly. Some of our trips, particularly those that are more active or involve wildlife – like volunteering with turtles in Greece or South Africa safaris– are best suited to older kids. Other countries, like Thailand or Japan, are easy with kids of all ages, and come with the bonus of lots of delicious food for them to develop adventurous palates.

Family multi activity holidays
Multi activity trips are a great option for single parent families, taking the pressure off you almost entirely. Just get the kids there and everything else is organised for you so you can get on with having fun. In countries such as Croatia and Andorra, our single parent holidays offer a brilliant mix of adventure, fun and relaxation. Everyone gets to test their limits in a safe, supportive and sociable atmosphere.
Generally, these holidays are based in one place, such as an activity centre, with shared meals. So from breakfast through to dinner you’ll be mixing it up with other families and by midway through the week you’ll be on first name terms with everyone. Activities such as canyoning, SUP, hiking and rock climbing are led by experienced and fully qualified local instructors and help groups (and families) bond as you take on the challenge together.

A fantastic experience for the whole family, probably our favourite summer holiday of all time! Releasing turtle hatchlings into the sea was an incredible experience, treasured by the whole family. Sleeping directly on the beach under the stars whilst monitoring a nest was also pretty magical.read more
