Electric Transport: Our local representative is exploring electric transport for local excursions to further reduce carbon emissions. Although electric vehicles are still quite rare on Saint Helena, they are looking to improve this buy 2030 when the island is run completely by renewable energy.

Reusable Energy: The island is steadily improving its use of renewable energy, and aims to be completely run by green energy by 2027. Its main source of renewable energy is solar and wind power.

Flights: Flights are only available once a week to Saint Helena Island, keeping the carbon emissions low to travel to the island.
